Temos o direito de exaurir o planeta em nosso benefício? Precisamos de tudo o que consumimos? Qual o nível de satisfação e conforto que buscamos? Estamos fadados mesmo a viver numa sociedade do automóvel (documentário fundamental esse aí…)? Existem limites para o desejo humano?

“Não há respostas, apenas escolhas”, diz um dos personagens do filme Solaris, que acabei de ver, daí minhas elocubrações notívagas…. Foi a versão de Steven Soderbergh (2002) para o livro de mesmo nome do Stanislaw Lem, há quem prefira o filme de Tarkovsky, mas enfim, a mensagem é a mesma (Soderbergh deu uma amaciada no final… também, o que esperar de um filme produzido por James ‘Titanic’ Cameron?).

Se é verdade que o que realmente precisamos é de um espelho, então a mudança tem que vir de dentro para fora. Mudar o pensar para transformar o agir. E assim manter engarrafado nosso insaciável demônio da perversidade.
